Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce’s latest Christmas song is inspired by their very own podcast.

On Tuesday, October 29, the A Phill Special Christmas and “New Heights” shared a video via their official social media accounts of Jason, 36, meeting with drummer Charlie Hall, Zach Miller and other musicians to discuss the brother’s annual Christmas song.

“This is a song that came out of this great brain and I feel like it tickles the nerve that we’ve not yet [done],” Hall shared.

Miller then went on to share that the “New Heights” horn intro is included in the song.

It’s about to be a very Kelce Christmas. Jason Kelce recruited younger brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for the Philadelphia Eagles’ second annual holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas. The pair teamed up for the duet “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” released on Wednesday, November 15. Ahead of the song’s premiere, the album’s […]

“Then we decided to, like, experiment with it on the floor,” Hall explained. “So we reimagined it. “

The pair then played a short clip of the song, before Hall admitted that he “can’t wait” for Travis, 35, to hear it.

“I also just think when Travis hears it, he’s going to be very excited about it,” Jason gushed.

Last year, Jason and Travis teamed up for the Philadelphia Eagles’ second annual holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas, releasing the duet “Fairytale of Philadelphia” in November 2023. The song hit No. 1 on the charts, which Jason and Travis thanked Taylor Swift’s fans — also known as “Swifties” — for.

“The Kelce duet reached No. 1 on iTunes,” Jason shared on an episode of their “New Heights” podcast in November 2023. “That’s right, ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia,’ our song from the new Christmas album debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes chart. That’s right, we are officially rock stars.”

Travis and Jason Kelce are heading into the holidays with high spirits thanks to Taylor Swift’s fans. “The Kelce duet reached No. 1 on iTunes,” Jason, 36, said on the Wednesday, November 22, episode of his and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast. “That’s right, ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia,’ our song from the new Christmas album debuted at […]

Jason noted that the Swifties “came out” in support of him and Travis.

“I sent out one tweet when it got to eight, and I got, like, 85 tweets from Swifties across the world saying, ‘Oh, you think eight’s good? We’re taking this to No. 1,’ and they did,” he explained. “It’s a powerful group, it’s a powerful group of people.”

Travis then went on to praise Swift, whom he has been dating since summer 2023.

“Thanks, Taylor. [We] appreciate you, and thank you to the Swifties,” Travis gushed.

Jason previously shared that he thinks it would be “pretty incredible” to have Swift, 34, featured on one of their Christmas albums.

“Maybe. Not this one, not this time around. … Maybe in the future,” he said on Today in October 2023.

The first Philly Special Christmas album was released in December 2022 by the Philly Specials, a trio consisting of offensive lineman Lane Johnson, Jordan Maliata and now-retiree Kelce. The album raised $1.25 million for charity.
