Love Is Blind season 7 star Ramses Prashad is sharing his thoughts on ex-fiancée Marissa George’s new relationship with a mystery man.
“I was aware that she was dating someone,” Ramses, 35, said on the Tuesday, November 5, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “She’s been dating him for the last few months or earlier in the year and, yeah, I’m happy for her.”
He added, “If it’s someone that can embrace her for who she is and she’s happy, then that’s great.”
According to Ramses, Marissa’s hard launch didn’t “catch [him] off-guard.”
Marissa, 32, teased her new romance with a yet-to-be-identified boyfriend via Instagram on Saturday, November 2, when she uploaded footage of the pair dancing together on Halloween.
“Life has a funny way of surprising you. I never expected to fall in love again, let alone with someone who embraces all my energy and flaws,” Marissa wrote via Instagram. “When we first met, I asked him if I was too much. He looked at me, confused, and said, ‘What do you mean?’ I simply replied, ‘Never mind,’ and from that moment on, I never questioned my energy again. 🤎.”
Ramses had broken up with Marissa during Love Is Blind season 7, which was filmed in fall 2023 and aired on Netflix last month, explaining that he couldn’t be the partner she deserved.
After the Love Is Blind reunion aired on October 30, Marissa exclusively told Us Weekly about her new relationship.
“I need a partner who’s gonna anticipate my needs a bit more [and] who’s gonna allow me to be the more emotional one and not have me lead the relationship as much. I figured that out with Ramses,” Marissa told Us. “I’m currently dating someone right now and he has those qualities that Ramses didn’t have for our relationship.”

Marissa and her beau, whose name she has not publicly shared, met at Washington D.C. hotspot Barcelona after Ramses called off their engagement.
“We kind of dated a bit, but I was still working through a lot of my emotions with Ramses, so we stopped going on dates and we took a break and still stayed friends. We started dating [again] in April,” Marissa recalled to Us. “It’s going very well.”
Marissa further noted that her new partner has seen the dramatic episodes of Love Is Blind, which made them stronger as a couple, and already met her mother, Vanessa. (The law clerk’s mom notably clashed with Ramses during the experiment and tell-all reunion.)
“My mom loves him and it drives me insane,” Marissa quipped to Us. “She’s never loved a boyfriend more. They call each other and have private conversations. He texts my brother and my sister. It’s really nice to have him involved in my family in a way that other partners never [have]. I think they can be intimidated by my mom at first and he never was.”
Ramses has also moved on, but he and Marissa do not have any contact.
“There is no relationship at all,” he said on Tuesday. “She texted me once after the reunion but it went from we were pretty friendly to now there’s nothing there. That’s fine; I really do want her to move on. This was a lot of both of us, but there’s nothing there.”
