The Golden Bachelor’s Kathy Swarts is unveiling the before and after of her plastic surgery transformation.
At the beginning of a clip shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 5, Swarts, 71, zoomed in on a photo of herself smiling where she appeared to have wrinkles underneath her eyes. “Before,” she wrote over the pic.
The video cut to a clip of Swarts talking, with her face looking noticeably smoother. In another clip, Swarts held back her hair as she tugged her ear to show a scar. “After,” she wrote.
“So….what do you think?? 😁,” Swarts captioned the video. “Thank you to the amazing team at @danyoplasticsurgery for their incredible work!”
Hours later, Swarts explained that she underwent a face lift. “I had a lower face lift which means they just do beneath the cheekbones, and they pulled my neck a little bit,” she said via Instagram on Tuesday. “I wanted to look how I look normally, I just wanted a few of the wrinkles to be pulled to the side. And voila! I got it.”
“I had a CO2 laser, which — for those of you who follow me — that made me look like Humpty Dumpty. But it didn’t hurt at all, it just blows your face up,” she continued. “And then I had IPL, which got rid of all the brown spots.”
Swarts shared that she tends to stay out of the sun, but has noticed brown spots develop with age. “That cleared my complexion completely,” she said of IPL, which stands for intense pulsed light therapy. “It hurts a little bit when they are doing it, but well worth it because look at the result.” Swarts smiled for the camera as she added, “I have the face of a baby’s butt.”

Swarts had been updating her followers on her recent plastic surgery journey for weeks. On October 14, her The Golden Bachelor costar and “Bachelor Happy Hour’s Golden Hour” podcast cohost, Susan Noles, drove Swarts to her appointment. “I’m a little nervous, but wish me well out there,” Swarts said via Instagram.
Noles, 67, underwent her own procedure on October 16, explaining that she had a breast reduction and a lower facelift. Days later, Noles had a CO2 laser. Amid Noles’ recovery, The Golden Bachelorette season 1 lead Joan Vassos praised her pal.
“No one is in charge of our happiness but ourselves,” Vassos, 61, commented on Noles’ October 17 Instagram post. “I love that you always take charge of your life. You did this for you and you deserve it! Happy healing and I’m ready to rock a bikini next to you and your new tatas!”
