Gisele Bündchen and boyfriend Joaquim Valente are staying true to themselves and not letting Bündchen’s pregnancy rush them down the wedding aisle.
“They’re deeply committed to each other, but there are currently no plans for marriage,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, noting that the couple “aren’t talking about marriage” right now.
Although Bündchen, 44, and Valente, 37, have been living together since shortly after they started dating in summer 2023 — and are now expecting their first baby together — they reportedly aren’t in a rush to tie the knot.
“They’re in love and happy,” the insider says. “But right now, marriage is not on top of their to-do list.”

The source noted that both Bündchen and the jiu jitsu trainer are “happy about the pregnancy,” which is their focus.
News broke on October 28 that Bündchen is pregnant with her third baby and Valente’s first. (Bündchen shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with ex-husband Tom Brady. She is also the stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 17, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.)

Although Bündchen’s pregnancy surprised some fans given her recent split from retired NFL quarterback Brady, the insider tells Us that her ex-husband is at peace with the news.
“He wants to see her happy,” the source says of Brady, pointing out that the former football player, 47, and Bündchen remain amicable following their October 2022 split. “They maintain a coparenting relationship that’s solely focused on their children’s well-being.”
Last month, an insider told Us that Brady was one of the first people to learn about Bündchen’s pregnancy.

“When Gisele told the kids about her pregnancy, she made sure to let Tom know as well,” an insider close to Brady shared in October. “This happened a few months ago. She wanted to give him that courtesy and knew the kids would tell him either way.”
Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years before they got divorced in October 2022. Since parting ways, they’ve remained committed to their children and have stayed in close proximity to one another, as they both reside in Florida.
While the insider said last month that the former New England Patriots quarterback was “shocked” when Bündchen shared her news, he knows that his ex is “a great mom and was destined to be a mom.”
Although the pregnancy is a recent development, Bündchen’s relationship with Valente isn’t new for Brady and their kids. The supermodel began dating Valente in summer 2023 after meeting through her and Brady’s children.

Their blended family has continued to flourish since then, according to the source, who says Valente has “participated in family activities and supports [Benjamin and Vivian’s] interests” and has “developed a positive relationship with [Gisele’s] children.”
Benjamin and Vivian, meanwhile — who already have a blended family with half-brother Jack — are “looking forward” to having a younger sibling, the insider adds.
