Jennifer Lopez Made an ‘Incredible’ Clothing Donation to Wildfire Victims

Amid the ongoing wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles, Jennifer Lopez is joining a coterie of chic and charitable celebrities who are opening up their closets to those affected in the area.

Lopez, 55, recently made a substantial clothing donation to the A List, a Los Angeles-based marketing agency that created a grassroots fire relief program that has been diligently collecting and distributing clothing and other essential items to families and others impacted by the fires.

On Monday, January 15, the A List took to Instagram Stories to share their excitement and appreciation, describing Lopez’s significant clothing donation as “generous,” and “beautiful.”

In a series of videos, they conveyed their heartfelt thanks, stating they were “beyond grateful” for her contribution and tagged the Unstoppable actress and singer in the social media post.

The agency also emphasized the scrappy nature of their relief efforts, highlighting that their work is driven by community support and direct action. They also shared that Lopez even included a personal note with her donation.

Lopez’s commitment to fire relief comes after she canceled several scheduled media appearances in New York City this week. She had been slated to appear on shows such as Today, The View, Live with Kelly and Mark and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Lopez joins a growing list of celebrities who are contributing to the relief efforts in various ways, including donating money, volunteering time and raising awareness. Halle Berry who made headlines last week when she shared she was donating her “entire closet” to those in need.

The Oscar-winner is collaborating with fellow actress Sharon Stone and +COOP, a home goods store in Beverly Hills, to promote efforts, collecting gently used clothing for men, women and children displaced by the fires.

“I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP!” Berry, 58, said in a January 9 Instagram post. “If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same. This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today!”

The post included a video originally shared on Stone’s Instagram account the day before, in which Stone, 66, also spoke about promoting the COOP, before taking viewers inside the shop to show the relief effort in action in real time. “We have beautiful cashmere sweaters, jeans, new socks, shoes, clothes, blankets… you can come and shop, you can also come and donate.”

Like Lopez, Berry and Stone, that’s a fashion statement that we can and should all get behind.
