Taylor Swift showed her appreciation for her Eras Tour staff in the most generous way possible.

Us Weekly can confirm that Swift, 34, gave out $197 million in bonuses to the crew over the past two years. Recipients included the truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team.

People was the first outlet to break the news.

Swift hit the road in March 2023 for her long-awaited tour. When the pop star wrapped up the North American leg of the outing in August of that year, news broke that Swift gifted her truck drivers a $100,000 bonus. Swift reportedly dished out $5 million in monetary gifts as there were around 50 drivers in her tour crew.

Taylor Swift will always remember the moment of her beloved Eras Tour in the back of her mind. Swift, 34, concluded the concert tour with three sold-out performances at Vancouver’s BC Place from Friday, December 6, to Sunday, December 8. (The Grammy winner began Eras in March 2023 in Arizona, eventually traversing continents for hundreds […]

After taking some much-needed time off, Swift hit the road again and brought her shows around the world. She performed in South America, Asia, Europe and the U.K. from late 2023 through this summer. Earlier this year, Swift returned to North America for a handful of extra shows before jetting off to Canada.

The Eras Tour has achieved many milestones, including being named the highest-grossing tour of all time. The New York Times reported earlier this month that the Eras Tour’s ticket sales, a whopping $2 billion, are “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”

In addition to making a huge profit on the show itself, Swift also found success with other ventures. Swift released her Eras Tour concert film after wrapping up the first leg. The movie hit theaters and was later released on Disney+. Swift also dropped her The Tortured Poets Department album before hitting the road for her European leg. Last month, Swift released a new photo book of moments from the shows. After hitting Target shelves for a week, Swift’s Eras Tour book hit nearly 1 million copies sold.

On Sunday, December 8, Swift bid farewell to the Eras Tour after almost two years of being on stage. She performed her final show in Vancouver and thanked her fans for “being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.”

As for what’s next for Swift following the Eras Tour, a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that the Grammy winner will take a break before beginning to work on another new album. The insider added that Swift is considering returning to tour in 2026.
