I love a good pair of jeans every once in a while, but I’d be lying if I said I don’t look forward to the second I’ll be able to undo the top button. This is especially true when dining out with friends or sitting at a coffee shop. A size up and they slide down, but a size down and they squeeze my midsection like a boa constrictor.
Finding an alternative to jeans — something I can wear with blouses, long-sleeve tops, sweaters and tank tops alike — has been a big-time challenge, made harder by my preference for a put-together look. I wish I could opt for a full-blown sweatsuit at all hours, but the fashionista side of me doesn’t allow it! That said, I found a pair of trouser pants on Amazon that looks all sorts of luxe, feels like sweatpants and upgrades any outfit. It’s only $15!
These pants are made of a stretchy polyester and spandex blend that’s lightweight, airy and breathable for all-year wear. Soft is an understatement! They have a wide-leg design with front buttons, giving them a sophisticated flair, plus a straight-leg style that’s ultra-flattering for almost all body types. Wear these to the office and you’ll be the trendiest — and comfiest — person there!
The waistband is stretchy and elastic. It doesn’t squeeze or constrict your midsection in any capacity, ideal for this time of year when we’re all indulging a bit more than usual. These pants genuinely feel like pajama pants . . . if not cozier. Deep side pockets are a functional bonus!
Whether you wear them around the house, to the office, out to dinner, to a ladies’ brunch or even on a quick Target run, you’ll look classy and put-together. These pants are suitable for yoga and pilates, too, so chances are you’ll never want to take them off. I love wearing them to coffee with friends and a walk in the park alike.
The styling possibilities are endless, but if you’re going for a rich-looking cold-weather aesthetic, try pairing these pants with loafers, a blouse and a leather handbag. If athleisure is more your style, these pants go beautifully with a white t-shirt and sneakers! The rich coffee brown is my personal favorite, but I plan on grabbing a few of the other 27 colors and patterns. After all, they’re only $10 right now!
